Burial Ledger

The burial ledger is where we keep track of the family members buried in our cemetery.

The ledger itself contains a lot of information about each burial. This summary view is generated from the detailed records of each burial. We typically leave it sorted by last name as we expect you’ll be looking for people by name. Please let us know at info@stjohnsonthehumber.ca if you’d like to see a different sort order and we’ll do our best to provide it.

The list scrolls up/down as well as left/right. Please note that there are three links per record. The FindAGrave link will take you to the FindAGrave.com page for each individual. FindAGrave is operated by a third party and populated by volunteers. It often contains photos of the memorial stone and other information. The Family Tree link will show you the individual’s family tree. Lastly, the Map link will take you to a digital map showing the location of the grave in our cemetery. The Map links are work in progress. Please consider volunteering to help populate them.

Following the map link will show you an aerial photo of the cemetery with plots superimposed on it. The one you’re looking for will be highlighted in blue. If you don’t see it, try clicking on “Zoom to” in the popup. Casket burials are rectangles. Ashes are circles. Memorials are smaller rectangles.
